PM: Politics Should be Eliminated in the Granting of Public Contracts

The Bahamas has wasted too much public funds in granting contracts to persons who failed to perform the job, and the Government is seeking to remove political influence from the process of granting publicly tendered contracts, Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham told reporters Monday.
